Researchers can set up their studies to allow either one submission or multiple submissions per participant. When launching a study, the researcher specifies how many times each participant can complete it.
How will I know which studies allow multiple submissions?
Studies that allow multiple submissions will be clearly marked on your study dashboard.

The study will remain on your dashboard for additional submissions until one of these occurs:
- You've reached the maximum number of submissions allowed per participant
- The study is full
- You dismiss the study by clicking 'not interested'
How am I paid for studies with multiple submissions?
You'll receive payment for each submission, just like regular studies. Each submission shows up separately in your submission history.
How can I find a specific submission in my study history for studies I've completed multiple times?
The best way to identify specific submissions in multi-submission studies is by downloading your submission history and locating the start and end time of the specific submission you're interested in.
- Log in to Prolific as normal
- Click the 'Submissions' tab at the top of the page
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and select 'Download full submission history'. This will download a CSV file of your submission history
- You can then locate the start and end time of the specific submission
