Can I use AI assistance tools in my submission?

In most cases, no. Data quality is important to Prolific and our researchers. Making sure that data is human is just as important, so please don't use AI assistance tools or Large Language Models (LLMs) when completing a study.

This includes, but is not limited to, tools like ChatGPT, Bard, Jasper, Surfer SEO.

Some researchers may want you to use AI tools but this will be explicitly stated in the study description or consent form. In these cases, you can use whichever tool they've asked you to use.
