How to update your country of residence

  1. Delete your 'current country of residence' in your 'About You - Demographics' section
  2. Once the question re-appears, add in your new country of residence (it can take a few days for the question to reappear)
  3. Add and verify your new phone number. Your phone number needs to correspond to your country of residence, with some exceptions. Click here for the full rules of accepted phone numbers
  4. Update your PayPal to match your details (this can match either your current country of residence or country of birth with the exception of US residents, where your PayPal must be for the US)
  5. Update your residential address in your account details

FAQ

I am trying to update my details but I am receiving a PEC-U-0001 error

This either means that your IP does not match your current country of residence, or that you have not completed all of the above steps yet. Please make sure to complete the above steps in order.

If you continue to see this error afterwards:

  • Wait until you're back in your country of residence to update your details or cash out.

I moved countries but I don’t have a new phone number, can I still participate?

Your phone number will need to match your country of residence with some exceptions. I am afraid we are unable to make an exception with this. Your account will remain open until you are ready to verify with a new phone number.

I am just abroad temporarily, should I still update my details?

Please only use these instructions if you're moving permanently. If you're going on holiday or abroad temporarily, we recommend you just enjoy your time away and don't change your account details.

Please note, you will be unable to cash out while abroad.
