When can I cash out?

You can cash out when your combined approved balances across both currencies (GBP and USD) reach £6/$6 or more. For example, you could cash out with:

• £6 or $6 in a single currency
• A mix of both (like $4 + £3.50)

When you cash out, both currency balances will be sent to PayPal automatically. Cashing out will not include the balance in ‘Waiting for approval’.

To find your approved balances, tap 'Balance' in the top right corner. This will open your 'Balance hub' where you'll find your:

• Approved balances
• Estimated total balance, and,
• Any amount 'Waiting for approval'

How often can I cash out?

In general, you can cash out once every 24 hours (resetting at midnight UTC), unless you:

• Recently added/updated your PayPal address
• Have made fewer than four cash outs on Prolific

If one of the above applies to you, you'll have a 72-hour cool-off period between cash outs. Once you've made your fourth cash out, you can cash out every 24 hours.
